A
lot of Fine Art Photography, as well as Cowboy Art reminds me of
a button a friend sent me that reads, “Art Is Anything You
Can Get Away With”. Beauty, and art are in the eye of the beholder.
In
this section of my site you will see photography of real working
cowboys, tack, and horses... and some “cowhands” that
might raise a few eyebrows. My hope is that you’ll enjoy seeing
a bit of the “Old West” that still is, and something of
the west that many an old cowboy wishes was!
For
those of you a bit sensative to images of the female form, please
forgive my effort to combine womanly beauty and the cowboy life
in images I call “Painted Ladies”.
I
have photographed beautiful models for fashion magazines for so
long, that it seemed only natural to create this series of pin-up
girls in the style I grew up seeing in the pages of Esquire, and
Playboy Magazines by the famed artist Alberto Vargas.
This
will be the start of a limited edition collector series available
to those who appreciate the famed pin-up girls of the 40’s,
50’s and 60’s. My “Painted Ladies” sometimes
will tell little stories about western life, but always with a little
sexier twist. So, check back ever now and then to see what’s
new!
