Most
of us are pretty good at making excuses for why we didn't
get something done.
We
put things down on a to-do list and call them "chores"...things
we have to do. We don't usually make lists that say anything
about "play time". Children play... adults work. Get In The
Truck is our photo tour dedicated to play. Having an adventure!
But
if you need an excuse for putting our trips on your to-do list...
put down "photography". Tell the world you're going off on a
photo expedition. Folks seem to be able to accept that for getting
away from the usual routine vacation. In fact, they may say
how much they envy you!
We
will be taking picture, but we will also be doing a whole lot
more.
Get
In The Truck is about exploration. It's learning about an America
that has been referred to as "The Heart Land" in TV commercials,
and novels. We will be seeing and photographing beautiful Western
landscape, and people out of Rockwell paintings.

Those
images are still out there if you know where to look. We'll
take you to those special places meeting people along our journey
who will talk to you about their way of life, and connections
to the land. There will be ranchers, artist, Native-Americans,
and real cowboys.
This
ain't no slick tour, and it's not designed for large groups
on a tour bus... it's a journey filled with time to reflect
on Nature's wonder as you photograph a sunset, or the shadow
play of sunlight across an arroyo.
Great
moments in photography happen! They are seldom planned. We will
head for unique places and let the serendipity of the moment
guide us.
If
you're interested in coming along when we get the our schedule
lined up just drop us an e-mail,
and we'll put you on our contact list.
So, be prepared to Get In The Truck with us! We're going down
some back roads on an adventure.
